Rotorua International Airport

Rotorua International Airport has been the gateway for travellers around New Zealand for the past 40 years, and is now receiving Trans Tasman flights direct to and from Sydney with Air New Zealand.

These Trans Tasman flights between Rotorua and Sydney are an exciting and significant development for everyone in the Central Park region. 

Visitors from Australia, and via that country from around the world, will be able to fly directly into Rotorua, and quickly access everything that Central Park has to offer. At the same time, residents from communities around the Central North Island will be able to fly directly to Australia, with greater ease and access.

Rotorua International Airport is located approximately one hours driving time from Tauranga, Whakatane and Taupo and only two hours drive to Hamilton. It is just two and a half hours from Auckland.

If you are flying Rotorua to Sydney direct return, you are able to show your boarding pass upon return to the car park Cashier and they will provide you with a free car park pass.  This offer is currently valid only for Rotorua to Sydney direct flights booked and paid for through till 12 December 2010.
